Working on proposal
Today I created the 3D scene for my proposal, along with that I research more on adding texture on material inside Maya and creating a planet and asteroid. I realized that there are tremendous about of free resources on the internet from where we can acquire knowledge. This class has been very productive as visual effects is my aim. Here I would like to post some of the screenshot I took while working and also will list a link for the tutorial.
In this session, I tried to create a bump map as a texture for my prop that is asteroid. It is quite easy to follow along tutorial. First to tweak some color/ contrast adjustment and apply Generate bump mapping under Filter tab>3D. One of the new features that I learn from this tutorial is to apply actions and record the setting. which can be very handy for applying features for future task.
This is my first render image of an asteroid, for which I followed tutorial, as for the first attemmpt it seems some features under hypershed>cloud settings should be tweaked. This will allow to achieve better resutls. Also, Learning Node graph on Hyper shed will definetily makes a qualifed 3D artist.
Interesting Question while using Photoshop features:Also In Mudbox, I had a default human body and applied some rig to its position. This is for my Second proposal.
